Notes
Fine strand flexible wire has a slightly larger conductor diameter than code stranded wire. When using Code Lugs with 2 AWG and larger Arctic Ultraflex Blue® and similar fine strand flexible wire, step up one lug size.
Flex Lugs, sized for the larger conductor diameter of fine strand flexible wire, are available on pages 100-101

Custom assemblyFrequently asked questions
If you need something that is not here, ask us: 8am to 5pm AKST, Monday to Friday.
What size lug do I need for my cable?
Conductor size and stud size. Compression lugs and splices are stocked to 1000 MCM, UL Listed and CSA Certified to 90°C, studs from #10 to 5/8 inch. Two-hole lugs are specified by hole spacing on centers. Code lugs fit code strand. Flex lugs fit fine strand. Polar Wire wire is Class K and needs a flex lug.
Do you stock split bolts?
Yes. Copper split bolts are on the online store. Class K wants a compression splice.
Do I have to buy the lugs, or can you crimp them on?
Parts are sold on the online store. A finished cable with the terminations already crimped is a custom assembly.
