What size lug do I need for my cable?
The conductor size and the stud it bolts to. Compression lugs and splices are stocked for conductors up to 1000 MCM, rated for 35 kV applications on copper, UL Listed and CSA Certified to 90°C, with stud sizes from #10 to 5/8 inch. Two-hole lugs are specified by hole spacing on centers. Code lugs are sized for code-stranded conductor and flex lugs are sized for fine strand. Fine-stranded Class K wire needs a flex lug, and Polar Wire's own wire is Class K.
Do you stock split bolts?
Yes. Copper split bolts are on the online store. Class K wants a compression splice.
Do I have to buy the parts, or can you fit them?
Parts are sold on the online store. A finished cable with the terminations already crimped is a custom assembly.
